Dan Paley’s been off his bike recovering from an injury for a while now but last week up in Glasgow visiting BSD mission control he had his first couple of sessions back on the bike since getting hurt. As it was scorching outside we took the chance to shoot a bike check with Dan and his fresh surplus green signature Soulja frame setup he’s running…

A FEW WORDS FROM DAN ABOUT HIS SETUP:

“It was literally like Christmas when BSD sent me a full new bike ready for when I’m able to ride again. I only got chance to ride my prototype frame for a month or so before I broke my knee (typical) so as you can imagine I’m pretty pumped to get rolling on this one! Really happy with running 2.25 tyres, it feels more responsive and grinds feel a treat! Especially crooked’s. Everything’s straight outta the box except I cut the bars to just under 29″ and I file my bottom bracket tube spacer down so my cranks don’t spin when I take my feet off, which in this day and age is pretty strange I guess considering every man and his dog do kickflips.. Unfortunately there is no emoji in existence to express my hatred for kickflips so I’ll leave it to the imagination…”.
